Addy: She’s not immortal we can’t just–
Hades: I. Do. Not. Want. Her. Here.
Addy: But she’s morta–
Hades: If you want her to die so badly, you can keep her soul and you can deal with her.
Lacey: ……
Chloe: I mean, we don’t…
Addy: Shut up. Fine. I guess we’ll leave Valencia alone for now.

Strange how you could barely know a person and they were still able to bring out the worst in you.

“It’s just as much your fault as dad’s that Willow and I ended up this fucked up.” – Casey to Val and I didn’t know she felt this way and now I’m pain
So the sad thing with this is the fact that Val does not deny it at all. She knows she wasn’t a great mother. She knows she’s still a walking disaster. She also knows she wouldn’t have been as bad had Kit not died. Because Kit balanced her out a lot more than most people realize. Because losing Kit nearly killed her. She blames Kit for how much of a mess she was because she couldn’t cope with his death but she takes the full blame for Casey. She can’t take full blame for Willow though because Willow loved Kit so much and she never got used to the hole in her own heart that losing her daddy had caused. But Val damn sure knows she didn’t make matters any better or easier.
5 times the love for Kit and Val!!!!
One.
She had wanted to hate him. Honestly, she had given it her best shot. And she meant that quite literally. But when she was at her worst, he stayed. It started to become fun. It wasn’t until they had a food fight during a cake testing though did Val realize she didn’t hate Kit. In fact, she was beginning to like him. And it pissed her off.
Two.
Getting sick wasn’t something that happened to Valencia often. In fact, it never happened. But she had been sick for over a week and he had dragged her to some sketchy-by-her-standards doctor.
Pregnant.
That had to be a mistake. Who the fuck in the universe thought they could handle a kid? They could barely handle each other and more often than not, they were fighting because she didn’t know any other way to be.
In truth, Val had expected him to bail. She would have if she could. But he he had stayed and she loved him for it.
Three.
Willow was perfect. A full head of hair and eyes as blue as his. The look on Kit’s face when the doctor asked if he was ready to hold his daughter for the first time was one she would never forget. Watching him with that baby made it all worth it.
Four.
Her dad still didn’t like him, but he walked her down that aisle anyway. By now, it was more choice than obligation and Val was relieved to see him standing there. He looked ready to bolt, but so did she. Half the people there she didn’t know, didn’t care to know, and her sister had scolded her all morning over “not being rude” to the “guests”.
But they didn’t matter, she wasn’t even going to keep the photos of the countless strangers. All that mattered was Kit and the way he looked at her.
Five.
Pregnant again. This time she wasn’t as freaked out. Willow was doing well enough, the fighting wasn’t quite as bad because of their daughter. Things had gotten tense, but she figured they would look up.
Val never saw it coming.
The memories of that day were in bits and pieces, scattered. The shock of coming home and finding him. Willow screaming for him to wake up. Her mom taking Willow. Britt saying she couldn’t bring him back. The sheer agony.
Losing him was enough to make her put a gun in her mouth, but the baby kicked. Reminded her it wouldn’t just be her following him to the grave.
She destroyed everything glass in the house before anyone could get through to her and by then, she was too broken hearted to care.
She just wanted her husband back.
