It was late, probably closer to 3am, but Bells wasn’t entirely sure. Not that it mattered since she was sitting on the dresser closest to her brother’s bed and watching him sleep. Truthfully, it was something she had been doing since they were kids, her head tipped to the side in a nearly comical manner as she counted his breaths. Of course, she went completely still when he stirred, debating on whether or not she should sneak out before he woke up enough to realize she was there.
