“Because grape is delicious,”
he answered. “Bubblegum is the only bad flavor.” He shrugged. “Not yet
they haven’t. Besides, maybe we’d have pretty babies. But the world will never
know and it’s for the best.”

“Grape is awful. Cherry and bubblegum are fucking great, you dolt.” At least she never had to worry over him stealing her favorite flavors. “Pretty sure Ben taking over the world wouldn’t be that bad. I mean, he does look alright in a mini skirt.”

babyitsmagic:

“I do not wish to
inconvenience you,” he told her, although he made little effort to resist her
efforts to lead him along.

She was trying to be as gentle as possible as she nudged him towards the bed. Tal had no issues in shifting and curling up under her window. After all, she had made herself a little den of blankets and pillows for just that sort of thing. “Not. Need rest. Need heal.”

“I have my talents.” he shot back with a smirk.

“Leon has a strong sense of self preservation. Don’t get me wrong, I’m certain he cares about Torrie as much as he’s physically able to, but I also know that Leon very much desires to not piss Rhys off, not after what happened last time between them. Besides, if Leon ever did turn against Torrie or anyone else in the family, he’d have Warren to deal with too.”

The wolf stroked her hair idly, still nuzzling her gently.

“Nobody does. At least it’s not too far along and complicated that it can’t be fixed quickly.”

“A few,” she returned, giving the slightest roll of her eyes. It wasn’t a gesture many saw her do.

“As well as my mother because she would be willing to follow my father nearly anywhere. Although she may follow him with kitchen ware if he ever tries anything she deems reckless.”

One slim hand touched his cheek, fingers tracing over his features lightly.

“Thank you for putting up with me.”

At first Manson had thought she had been imagining things. After all, there was just no way her father of all people was there. Maybe it was just Xander, it had to be, but when she had text nephew, he had seemed puzzled. He had been home all day, curled up watching netflix.

The second time, she convinced herself it was just stress making her see things. In retrospect, she knew it was her brain trying to protect her from the truth.

It wasn’t until about the fifth time she had caught sight of him that she really began to believe she was unraveling. She didn’t tell Angelo, couldn’t bring herself to. She didn’t call anyone else either. She knew there was enough going on between her brother, her aunt, everything. She didn’t wan to add to it.

But the nightmares were getting worse.

@ofviolentdeath || pin the muses (accepting– but it might take a while)

  • Send “UGH” to pin my muse against the wall from FURY

His gaze hardened as his back hit the wall, anger flitting across his face in the briefest of flashes, before it shifted to something more like annoyance. “Dude, what is your problem?”

“You are,” he growled, lying through his teeth. He had finally heard from his mother, the first time she had called him since he had left, and it hadn’t gone very well.
