“Probably. But I think it’s ‘cause ya got bad taste. Aside from Kat an’ Cam, I think ya could’a been doin’ way better all these years,” he returned. “They did way better than I would’a. Tru… I don’t think she would’a done as bad as she thought, but I dunno if she was ready for kids before the girls,” he admitted. He knew even with Erika, she’d struggled. Lin would’ve turned out pretty good, still, he suspected, but Elise and Jake had definitely been his best option. “…do ya even… need me around for this one? ‘cause, I mean, I’ll be there, but ya got Kat an’ Cam an’ he’ll be mad, but Jasper’ll support ya an’ I dunno how things are with… y’know… but maybe he’ll be there for ya too if ya want?”

Besides, I managed to bed Eris.” An accomplishment she was still pretty proud of herself for. Even if one of the kids also managed to do the same. She tried not to dwell on that one too long. “She was, she just didn’t realize it.” Lyri gave him a look and crossed her arms. “I don’t give a damn if you’re around for me. It’s hardly my first pregnancy. But you damn sure are going to be around for the kid. A kid deserves to know where they came from and I can only imagine what abilities it’s gonna develop from your genetics.”
