mythsandmonsters:

“If Cassiel prefers his chains, so be it. Then again, the little lapdog never did have it as bad as Az did. At least Cassiel had a choice over taking up a sword in carrying out His will instead of being stripped of all agency and forced to be nothing more than a guard dog and a killer.”

“Well, I mean, he’s not allowed to intervene in anything either, is he? That’s got drawbacks of its own. Shit, could you imagine? Befriending someone and then not being allowed to help them if something comes up? Fuck that. Not as bad as the shit deal Azzy got saddled with, but still pretty shitty.”

thewitchandtheangels:

He kept his commentary to himself as he followed the hybrid. Shutting up wasn’t his strong suit, but even he knew when to stay quiet and Zia clearly wasn’t up for talking.

The longer Leo followed, the more irritated with it Zia became. He didn’t need a goddamn babysitter.

thewitchandtheangels:

He gave Zia a slight head start beforee heading out after him. Obviously the other needed space but Leo wasn’t just going to leave him completely alone in this emotional state.

The wolf could hear the other following, but he was determined to ignore him as much as humanly possible. He was still tempted to set the damn demon on fire, but what good was that going to do?

thewitchandtheangels:

He didn’t flinch at the action, eyes never leaving Zia’s face. As the other pulled away, he crossed his arms over his chest, leaning more comfortably against the wall. “No.”

He chucked his phone at him, not caring if it hit Leo or the wall. He wanted to break things, to set shit on fire, but he couldn’t, not to a hotel room.

thewitchandtheangels:

“I’m not exactly known for brilliant ideas, but this seems like a really shit way of handling that, now doesn’t it?” he answered, eyes narrowing slightly as his demonic half awoke at the threat to his safety.

His fist connected with the wall beside Leo’s head before he pushed away from him. “Get the fuck out of my life.”
