Had it been anyone else, Konis would have gone after people he cared about. It was a better tactic over all, but the only person she knew of that he claimed to care for was herself. Hurting herself wouldn’t make him go away either. “STOP IT! STOP FUCKING SAYING THAT!” she screamed, her hand shaking, the blade still against his throat. He was stunned for a moment, staring at the bundle in August’s arms and trying to find a reasonable explanation for why the hell August was holding a child. The words were hissed, voiced soft in an attempt not to wake the infant, “What are you doing? Are you insane?”
The leopard immediately cradled the child closer to his chest, resisting the urge to nuzzle at her. To say he had already grown attached was an understatement. “I smelled blood and shifter and I found her and someone killed her momma, Chase. Someone killed her momma and just left her next to the body and I couldn’t leave her to starve to death. She’s just a baby,” he rambled, desperate despite how quiet he was trying to be. “I couldn’t just leave her there…Please don’t make me take her back. Please don’t….” he couldn’t finish the question as he stared at Chase, terrified that he would finish what the person that killed the girl’s mother hadn’t been able to.

Character in general: Okay, so like, I want things with literally all of them babies because they are so fucking amazing and I am total trash for the worst ones. Like, you have no idea.
How they play them: AMAZINGLY. Holy fuck. Yes. The personalities and the way they connect in certain storylines are fucking amazing
