“I dunno? Don’ do much human stuff ya know?”

“Sounds like a pretty shit life. No hot chicks? Fuck that. I’d rather be dead than not have cute girls to flirt with. Oh, shit, I’m Luna by the way. Can’t remember if I actually said that or not?”

Hokay. I am home for the next two days. Got dinner plans with my B tomorrow and then lunch with my little cousin Friday. Other than that, I am going to try to get my drafts done and queued. I say try because I have also fallen back down the rabbit hole that is ancestry dot fucking com.

foxofthewildhunt:

“Never done any o’ tha’.“ He perked right up, “No’ ‘lowed t’ drink though. Owner says we go’a be ready t’ go, ‘n’ drunk ‘ounds are dead ‘ounds.”

“You’ve never gone dancin’ and flirting with pretty girls? What the fuck kind of life are you living?”

raisedinthesmoke:

“I don’t know how many of the kids can read much, but yeah, I guess maybe there could be use for them here. I’d have to talk to the council about it and see if that’s something they’d consider first, but I don’t see why not.”

“We have a lot of beginner books. My grandmother sort of collects books so she made sure we salvaged as many as we could from schools so that clusters like yours could have them when things began to settle.”

Something wasn’t adding up, but there wasn’t time to figure out what.

“What, like you took care of Kellen?”

The words were out before he could stop them, but he was angry enough that he didn’t regret them nearly as much as he would have in other circumstances.

His rage went from hot to ice cold in an almost an instant at his father’s words. It was crossing a line to him.

“Don’t you dare presume to know what went on in my home with that kid. And fucking forget that I tried to give you a heads up. I’ll just find and bring Sera home myself.”

Britt placed her hand on Az’s shoulder, seeing that they were better off trying without Jericho. It was only going to end in a fist fight.

mythsandmonsters:

He reached out and gave her hand a squeeze.

“I’m grateful. You’re a good person. Way more than I deserve.” he mumbled, showing her how thankful he was that she’d been there and helped him.

“You need to stop with that. Just because we go to school with assholes doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be treated with kindness,” she chided, her tone almost protective sounding as she brushed her thumb over his skin.
