“I’m not putting up with you. I just don’t know what you want from me right now,” he grumbled in response, still so obviously confused.
“I don’t get why you’re so damn aggressive to me and then get upset when I don’t enjoy it. I just don’t understand why everything feels so fucking weird between us lately, and the way you keep acting makes me feel like it’s my fault for some reason.”
“Just forget it,” she mumbled, rolling over onto her side and curling up a little. It didn’t bother her that the ground was too hard or that there were rocks pressing into her ribs. She couldn’t really feel them through the chaos going on in her head and instincts.
