It was true that Kellen missed his mom terribly, but his dad had made it perfectly clear that he’d disowned his son and would certainly be unwelcome at their home, despite if Sera permitted the visit.
Ori rested his chin on Kellen’s shoulder, trying to comfort him as best as he could. He had always been terrible at this, but he could also feel how badly the other needed it.
