“Okay,” Vaughn nodded, glad that she understood his reluctance on that front.
“Speaking of the little ones, I don’t think we’re gonna hear the end of it from Genesis if you go home smelling like me,” he added with a soft laugh, knowing the little girl would see it as undeniable proof that he now had to permanently be a fixture in all of their lives.
“I already never hear the end of things from that pup.” She rolled her eyes and giggled before her expression softened. “She’s started calling me “momma Cadi”,” she confessed, still not sure what to do with that one.
