Trent knew at that exact moment that he’d won their little game and he had her right where he wanted her. Little did Pheme know that Trent had a habit of playing with his food, and when it came to situations exactly like this, he was going to draw it out and take what he wanted, more than just blood and sex; he wanted her complete surrender.

Pausing from feeding for a moment, he pulled her closer possessively before resuming, slipping a hand beneath her skirt and the lacey fabric of her panties, wanting to know what other noises he could have her making.

The firmness of his touch was enough to make her shiver as she adjusted in his lap, making it easier for him to get at her throat. She could feel the hot trickle of blood staining her pale her skin, the viscous liquid shimmering in the light.

Her fingers curled around his wrist but not to stop him. She just needed something to grasp as she jerked at his touch. Had he not bitten her, she would have probably left already but the girl was a sucker for a little pain.

Comfort Me – Brynn and Adi

The last spell Robbie had had her try had backfired in the worst possible way. The veins under her skin had all turned black and everything hurt. Worst still was feeling like she had utterly broken the trust of everyone else she knew. But she had believed in Robbie so much, believed he had loved her and wanted to help her grow.

She should have listened to her brother.

Adi couldn’t even bare the thought of looking at Conner right now. It was hard enough just to let her mother see her like this.

She went to try to swallow the lump in her throat, but it made her cough and gasp, her lungs burning with the effort that even a normal breath used. She knew she was going to end up back on the respirator at this point.

“Mo-mma, I-’m so-rry,” she croaked out, tears stinging her eyes as she finally looked over at Brynn.

“Shhh, it’s not your fault, baby,” she soothed, smoothing her daughter’s hair back and perching on the edge of the bed. “We’re all blinded by first loves. You couldn’t have possibly known he was using you.”

“Con kn-ew,” she argued, her lips cracking a little when she spoke. She could taste the coppery hint of blood and it made her want to puke.

“That’s because he’s more on the psychic end, honey. You just rest, okay? Rest and let me take care of you.”

“Maybe they knew you were a fucking psycho from the start?”

It was a cheap shot, but Jack didn’t care. He didn’t owe Chance anything, so why should he give a shit about offending him. It’s not like he could really hurt any feelings he didn’t have, right?

“When has you fixing things ever worked out? You tried fixing Sera, it just fucked her up even more. You wanted to fix me to make me like you? You made me want to be the exact fucking opposite of everything you’ll ever be. Face it, you fixing things is the problem, because you don’t understand how to actually do it because you don’t operate mentally the same. This is why you fuck everything up that you touch.”

His frown deepened at the last of statements, confusion clear. “Sera’s not broken anymore. I saved her this time.” It didn’t matter if Jack believed that or not, it was still as close to factual as Chance was ever going to get in his views of his relationship with Sera.

>He would have pointed out that Jericho had prevented her from seeing Kellen, but it would have been hypocritical sounding, even to himself.  The biggest difference he could grasp at was Sera had been so bordering catatonic that it had been easy to convince her the baby had never existed. Jericho she had actually raised.

“Your mother…She’s been trying to get me to see what taking you from her did. For that… For that I am as sorry as I can actually be.” At least that was something he could relate to. Brittia walking away from him while he was in chains had hurt.

Isaac gave the child a warm smile, but it was clear that there was a little tiredness behind it. Not that he wanted either of them to leave, but he was still in the early days of his recovery and had limited energy to spare on much else.

“In time. Be patient,” he explained, firm but forgiving of her youth. The little ones needed guidance in learning boundaries, and Genesis was clearly no different.

Cadi caught the look in his eyes and gently plucked the pup from his lap. “We need to let him rest, okay?” she said softly, trying to keep Genesis from launching into a fit at being moved from where she was clearly comfortable.

“I stay and nap then,” the child insisted, crossing her arms and refusing to budge.

“Not that I know of, but I wouldn’t put it past them to have tried at some point. I don’t think I have any scars I don’t know how I got through, so read into that whatever you want.”

“You can’t see every inch of your own body,” he pointed out. “Plus, if it was done right, there’s ways to make the scars minimal.” Either way, he was going to have the kid checked professionally for that reason.

Me: I need to sleep because I have to be up in like 7 hours
Chance: -is awake af-
My brain: We should write more Chance related drabbles
Me: No, no we should not. We should sleep
My brain: HOPE YOU LIKE HORRIFYING NIGHTMARES THAT ARE GOING TO WAKE YOU UP REPEATEDLY THROUGH THE NIGHT (:
Me: WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS????????

Probably one of the least triggering drabbles ever written including Chance.

Things had not gone as plan in his attempt at speaking to his son, but Chance was hardly surprised. Sera kept insisting it would take time and effort but he knew he didn’t have the emotional depth to do any good. It was frustrating and he kept saying things wrong.

By the time he left, he couldn’t get the itching feeling out of the palms of his hands, so he made a detour. She wasn’t his usual type, blonde, sure, but not pretty enough. Her hair was too short, face too thin, eyes a weak shade of grey. But she screamed easily enough and it relieved some of the tension.

No one batted an eye when he came home coated in blood. It was part of the reason all of the furniture was dark. He left a smear of blood on the refrigerator, he’d clean it up later, when he grabbed a beer and made his way back to the living room.

Sera asked, of course, but his response was short enough to keep her from asking further until he calmed down.

But it was Arcadia that surprised him. The pup had only been with them a short time, her physical injuries still healing and the emotional ones still visible in her eyes. She was hesitant as she stepped into the room but she crossed it anyway and sat on the floor next to his legs. The blood didn’t seem to bother her as she laid her head against his knee and closed her eyes, body relaxed against him.

After several moments, he reached down to run his hands through her hair, leaving streaks of red through the blonde almost absently. He had never liked dogs before but she was an exception. Even for a girl, her mannerisms were more canine than anything.

At least she was already too damaged for him to really fuck her up any further.
