Abi is a forensic photographer. It’s her job to go through and photograph a crime scene thoroughly before anything in it is disturbed so the courts have a permanent record of what the scene looked like while intact. That makes her one of the first people given access to a scene after the first responders have gotten there. She has to speak to said first responders to asses what damages may have occurred to the scene and evidence in the pursuit of saving a victim or apprehending a suspect.
“Asshole.” She wiped the water from her features with a withering smile. If the man was a demon, he was certainly one of the most trying she had encountered. Generally, they all toyed with their prey in one form or another, but he almost seemed perfectly content with simple banter.
“I have yet to see why it’s a bad idea.” Ara commented, casting a small amount of salt in his direction. Either to provoke him further or potentially discover another way to protect herself—she wasn’t certain.
It was hardly the first time anyone had called him an asshole and he knew there was no way it would be the last. Still, it was fun to play with scared little girls and the salt only made him laugh harder.
“What’s next? Exorcism ritual? Won’t work,” he taunted, clearly amused by her attempts to repel him or whatever. It was always fun when they didn’t realize he was only half demon.
A slight growl of a groan rose in Cael’s throat as Lissa eased herself down on his cock. The sound he made was muted by her mouth on his, turning to a heavy breath through his nose instead as he let his hips roll up to meet hers and buried himself deeper in her warmth, the food forgotten for a few moments in favour of letting Lissa establish a rhythm she was comfortable with first.
Lissa practically lived for the more animalistic sounds Cael made, his growls enough to maker her toes curl. The kiss broke, her hips rolling in a practiced rhythm as she ran her nails along his chest. The thought of turning him crossed her mind, not for the first time, but it would be a terrible way to reveal what she was to him and take away that sort of choice.
