rustandglass:

“Well I never said I was just a pretty face, did I?”

It didn’t take long for Cael to rid himself of his clothes, already half hard just from the thought of Lissa riding him until she was satisfied. He dropped down on the bed next to her, snagging a pillow and shoving it behind him to comfortably prop himself up before he was making grabby hands for her.

“True.”

Lissa wasted no time straddling him, leaning in to kiss him hard as she situated herself atop him. Truth be told, the feel of him was enough to make her forget there even was food despite the smell of bacon and coffee.

rustandglass:

“Wouldn’t that depend on what I want to eat?“ Cael asked deliberately, leaning forward to trail his fingertips up her inner thigh.

“Or I’ve got another suggestion,” he added, a wicked glint in his eyes before he took off his shirt and started unbuttoning his pants. “How about I get naked, you sit in my lap and I’ll finish you off that way while we both have our hands free for eating all this before it gets cold?”

His touch was nearly electric but his suggestion had her laughing as she rolled onto her side to watch him strip.

“You might be the only smart man I’ve ever fucked,” she remarked, clearly liking the idea. It was definitely the first time anyone had suggested that one to her and she wasn’t entirely sure her focus would last long enough to finish eating, but it was worth a try.

rustandglass:

“Maybe I might just sit here and enjoy the view while I eat breakfast?”

He was teasing, but he at least made a show of sitting down and taking a large swig off coffee, the grin still firmly set on his face, long enough to encourage her to play along for a few moments before he’d let the pretense drop and join her.

She moaned softly, letting him have his little games for a moment too. It was part of what made the whole thing work

“Then you better eat fast.”

rustandglass:

He assumed Devin was still skulking around on the ground floor as he bounded up the stairs to the second level, throwing open the door to the room Lissa was using as a makeshift bedroom and pausing, a wide grin spreading across his face as he surveyed the scene awaiting him.

“Getting started without me?” he purred, licking his lips as he stepped inside, letting the door swing shut behind him. “Am I that late?”

“Completely late,” she replied, her voice a little breathy.

She was content to let him think she hadn’t only started because she heard his bike if it stoked his ego. He was the only person she didn’t feel the need or desire to knock down a peg or two.

“And if you don’t hurry, I might finish without you too.”

rustandglass:

Things took a little longer than he would have liked, but Cael managed to get back just a little over two hours later, making sure to swing by a decent enough coffee place to get food, as promised, though it was well after what anyone could realistically call breakfast time anymore with it being closer to lunchtime.

He parked his bike out front and used the key Lissa had given him to let himself back in, despite knowing that Devin had been pissed as hell at him for that the last time.

A lurid smirk slid over Lissa’s lips when she heard the bike outside and she made quick work of shimmying out of the sheets. It was hardly the first time he would walk through the door to find her in a provocative manner and she doubted it would be the last either.

It was fun to see which he would choose, her teasing or breakfast.

amongstmortals:

Ara set her jaw as she held her place, meeting the man’s steeliness with her own. The black eyes were another surprise, but nothing she hadn’t seen before. “Fuck. You.” A small flick of her wrist and the water was tossed into his features.

She had mentioned she was a fan of the ill-advised.

Judas tried to swallow the laughter, the water doing, essentially, nothing. “You’re not exactly my type,” he returned, amused as he waved his hand, the water practically lifting from his skin and clothes before he flicked it back at her.

Unlike his siblings, he had spent more time studying magic and it was child’s play, really. “And I warned you it wasn’t a good idea.”

amongstmortals:

“Aren’t you a fool? Most things I do are ill-advised.” Ara gripped the vial slightly tighter, eyes narrowing at the man. He wasn’t quite what she had expected—rumors had only mentioned small insignificant haunts and his footsteps (followed by his appearance) had scared her more than she cared to admit. “Besides, when a threat tells you not to do something, I generally find it’s better to go against what you’re told.”

His eyes narrowed before flooding black as he took a step closer to her, daring her to follow through. One of the gifts he had gotten from Cord was the ability to feel another emotions and he could almost taste her fear on the back of his tongue. “You don’t have the guts.”
