Not that Jack and Kellen talked regularly at all, but it had been near enough impossible to avoid crossing paths with his half-brother when the younger of the two lived with Britt and Jack had been making some effort to integrate a little more with the family Chance had denied him for so long.

“You gonna try and convince me that he’s got it wrong too?”

“My son has also never had the full story.”

Jericho knew he really didn’t have any right to refer to Kellen as his child. After all, he had basically disowned the boy, but he was damn sure not about to let on to that in front of one of Chance’s little monsters. 

“He doesn’t know what your father did to her.”
