Hypnos nodded faintly, though it would take a long time for him to shake the sense of doubt that still lingered. Instead, he changed the subject for the moment, his thoughts turning to his youngest daughter, who had been trapped with him, though he’d managed to keep her safely hidden in his dreams away from physical harm.
“How’s Nerissa doing? She must have been so traumatised, poor girl. Is she alright?”
Moros pulled back just enough to smile sweetly at him, an assurance that the lovely girl in question was doing rather well.
“She seems to have taken a real shining to our boy. Cayden seldom leaves her side and, if he must, he leaves Blake with her as she’s taken a liking to him as well. She’s adapting as best as can given the shock of the real world.”
