“Do you really think I can either? I don’t exactly have a choice though, do I?” He muttered, wincing a little as he accidentally tried to move.

Ollie had a sick sense of foreboding that mixed with the feeling he was just waiting for the inevitable, and he wasn’t sure if he was trying to talk Jeff into taking him home or just ending it right there and then so it didn’t draw out any longer.

“Just fucking stop!” he yelled, not meaning to get that loud. He wasn’t in the right frame of mind for this and being pushed wasn’t going to do either one of them any good.

Ollie was already hurt and Jeff knew he was still on the verge of snapping again. He wasn’t entirely sure he could keep himself from doing worse damage if that switch got flipped right now.

“I know, but what other way is there around it that doesn’t end up with you killing me?”

He hated the way that sounded but it was the cold, hard truth of the matter, and Ollie knew that if Jeff killed him, that would send him spiralling out of control anyway, and he didn’t want that.

Jeff rolled off of the bed, needing more distance between the two of them. There was still blood dried on his hands and that was not helping any either.

“I can’t. I can’t have this conversation, Ollie. I just… I just fucking can’t.”
