He shrugged. “Regardless of whether or not you believe that I care, you have my company until I have souls to collect.”

“I don’t want it.” Anyone else would have left already after telling her to go fuck herself and it was beginning to get make her panic a little. She wasn’t used to anyone arguing with her about them wanting to stay.

mythsandmonsters:

“Well then it’s a good thing I don’t really plan on staying a sober person, isn’t it?”

They made such a pair on that front, Damian having a tendency to stray into the territory of being a little too morbid and pessimistic for most people’s taste, but that was was a hazard of the job; dealing with demons and spirits was dirty work in some of the worst ways when it came to the effect it had on a person.

“Well then drink up, buttercup.”

She wasn’t sure if she actually thought he was cute or if she was honestly just that bored and in need of release. It had been a bit of time since anyone that looked even remotely like a possibility had stumbled into the bar and she was tired of things that ran on batteries.

Geraldine Chocolate

My gran hated her name, but I kinda dig it.

I like it? It sounds like you would write cosy small-town romances. People who whimsically buy seaside bookshops and fall in love with someone in a compelling sweater

“Wait! Where are you going! I NEED TO CHART THAT SWEATER, ASSHOLE COME BACK!”

YES! Small town knitter stalking!

As I proceeded to flee the man covered in brightly colored knitwear, who shouted he needed to chart my knitwear, there was a point in which I… confess in my shame and terror… I undressed completly and chucked the sweater in his general direction.

This led to an uncomfortable situation.

I am Hazel Chocolate! (no relation?)

Juliet StrawberryWithNutella

Betty Gummy Bear

I don’t think this works.

No. I survived being named after her once.

However if we go with my grandpa. Thomas Pancake.

This does not sound like a romance novelist. This sounds like a weird scientist. But maybe that’s me projecting because Grandpa’s actual last name is even wilder and he is a weird scientist.

Beryl Blueberry Muffin. I sound like a My Little Pony. Her maiden name was Beryl Bull, which was much better.

Mary Jellybelly 😆

Elsie Raspberry

Isabel Ganache

Hmmmm…either Ursie Tres Leches or Catherine Tart

Edith Trifle.
I like it 😂

Patricia Ben and Jerry’s

Sharon Cookie xD

“Good, ‘cause I don’t slow down for no-one.” she grinned, satisfied that Cian could take care of himself if they did need to lose the heat of their tail.

“So you better keep up.”

“Is that a challenge?” He was beginning to like her enough to think even Izzy would have fun with her. He hadn’t had that thought since before Tru had gotten all responsible.

babyitsmagic:

“It’s just true. And honestly? Last time it hurt like hell.” He’d been more of a wreck than he would ever admit. “It’s not a feeling I like and it’s not one I’d put someone else through.”

“Save it for someone that thinks you actually give a shit.” It was hard enough for her to believe that her own daughter cared about her, so she couldn’t really manage it with anyone else.

babyitsmagic:

“I don’t leave. I get left.” Even when leaving was the smart thing to do, he didn’t do it. It wasn’t like he had much to risk; he was already dead. So he stayed, until the other person decided they’d had enough of him staying.

“Yeah, sorry, heard that one before,” she returned, trying to mask how much she felt like crying with snark and anger. It was easier to feel.

mythsandmonsters:

Ollie made a frustrated noise, but it was hard to say if it was because he needed comfort or if he was trying to gauge whether Jeff understood what he was implying.

“Luna said I shouldn’t either, but she doesn’t understand even when I try to explain it to her. She thinks I’m insane for wanting anything to do with you.”

“Ollie, if you were human, I would have killed you last night. Luna might have a point,” he countered, the words catching him his throat. It pained him to admit it and it was taking everything in him to stay on that bed.

babyitsmagic:

“No,” he answered flatly, holding her gaze. “I’m not leaving you alone until my duty requires me to do so, because, frankly, it seems stupid to leave you by yourself right now.”

“Everyone leaves. Why should you be any different?” She had never told him much about the kids’ dad, or even her kids. She had always done her best to keep him at arms length and she didn’t like that he was seeing her at her most vulnerable.
