Dominic rolled his eyes, giving him a ‘bitch, please’ sort of look. He still kept things playful, but there was a solid reason why he was the twin who was harder to win around, and that reason would remain buried under his facade of aloof confidence.
“Would it work better if I were an actual dog? Because that can be arranged,” he teased, a smirk on his lip and a wink following the words. If he hadn’t been around people in that sort of world, he wouldn’t have said or done it, but nothing about either of the twins smelled threatening to him.
