Sorin

Sorin is originally from Romania. His little sister had had a rare disorder, making her essentially allergic to the sun. Of course, this led others in his village to believe the girl was a monster. He had gone out hunting, left out early in the morning, and when he came home, he found his family murdered. In a fit of rage and grief, he made a crossroads deal to avenge them, especially his beloved baby sister. Grayson was the one that did his contract and the two have essentially been friends since. Sorin is the only person alive that can get away with calling Grayson or Cord by their real names.
He doubles as a lawyer, so he’s very, very good at talking people into and out of things. Which is probably a good thing with the amount of times Grayson especially has been arrested. He mostly operates in Reno, Nevada.
Vivian James

Vivian is Grayson’s eldest living child and the only one that is half human. Her mother was from Sweden and Grayson had adored the woman, but he left about three weeks before anyone knew she was pregnant. When Vivian was born, the only one that knew what she was was Sorin and he did his best to keep the girl shielded from anyone else finding out. She’s only met Grayson a handful of times, but she does love her little sister and brother.
Helena Carden

Zia’s mother, Helena really never should have been a mother. She was bitten by a werewolf not long before she found out she was pregnant and it was honestly a miracle the pregnancy lasted the first two full moons before another wolf found her and got her the right stuff to keep her from shifting. She always told Zia that his father didn’t want anything to do with him and she resented the boy more than she should have. She didn’t even let Phee see the kid until she noticed the magical abilities kicking in and she hated Phee for that.
Ajax Daniels

Brynn’s father, Ajax went off the deep end with his sister. He wasn’t quite as bad as she was, but he definitely wasn’t a good guy either. No one is exactly sure how he ended up with Brynn, but his mother was fairly certain it wasn’t a good thing as the girl’s mother basically abandoned the baby on their doorstep. Ajax is still alive, but he’s in a locked ward in an institution.Â
Muirenn Daniels (Deceased)

Ren was the first of her siblings to go dark. She had begun hanging around Robert when she was about 14 and thought she loved him. There had always been a spark of something darker in her and it took little effort on his part to coax it out of her. She immediately dragged Ajax down with her and, when her mother and the council stepped in and stripped her of her abilities, she ate the barrel of a gun.
Orpheus “Phee” Daniels

Zia and Colette’s father, Phee is the only one of his siblings not to go darkside. He had noticed his sister going off the rails long before anyone else and he had never expected her to drag their brother down with her. He met Robert a couple of times and had never trusted the man. He tried his best in raising Colette, but the task still fell pretty largely to his mother and only partly because the woman was just that overbearing. As for Zia, he wanted so badly to be around for his son, but the boy’s mother wouldn’t let him around until Zia’s magical talents began to manifest.
Edmund

Rebecca’s middle child, he was the absolute spitting image of his father. He never really got along with his older brother, Robert, but he did adore his little sister. Him and Margaret grew close when she got older and stopped following Robert around so much. He was always the gentle one, the softer one. He didn’t really remember his mother too much (he was 3 when she died), but he did remember the way she smiled.Â
His bloodline was the first to die out, not even making it to the 1900′s.
MargaretÂ

Margaret was Rebecca’s only daughter. She wasn’t really old enough when her mother died to actually remember her, but Robert used to tell her stories about their mother all the time. She never knew her oldest brother as anything other than a little bitter, but she tended to get into a lot of trouble with him when she was younger. She eventually settled down, married a decent man and had five kids. Her bloodline died out in the late 1960′s.Â
Viola Roxanne Taylor

Vi was Cord’s responsibility. She was a clairvoyant and a pretty damn impressive one at that. Her abilities were strong enough that she could get a read off of objects with the faintest of touch. Unfortunately, it sort of drove her over the edge. She took to trying to dull her abilities with any substance she get her hands on her. She eventually spiraled out bad enough to take her own life.
