“I think you’d already know about it if he didn’t,” Warren pointed out, a smirk curling his lip at seeing his little girl so nervous over a boy, a stark contrast from her usual cool and collected demeanour.
“Nyla, Darius is a wolf. Even if you didn’t tell him using words, he’d know, because there are some things you can’t hide from wolves and other shifters, no matter how much you might want to.”
She hated feeling like this almost as much as she disliked losing her composure around anyone. Usually Darius was the only one that saw her looking like this, but she had been avoiding him just a little bit because she knew he’d catch on to her near distressed state.
