Though the news stung him a little bit, Hypnos understood and he would never hold it against either of them, especially when Hypnos and Hecate had a child together anyway in Tayte, so he just saw it as further solidifying them all as a family unit.
“I’m glad you were there for each other,” Hypnos soothed, showing that he wasn’t angry. “I worried you might have started shutting yourself away again like Thana does.”
“She wouldn’t let me,” he replied with a slight chuckle. The fact that they all knew how he generally responded to things that hurt was amusing, but also a little bittersweet. He knew why they knew it now and there was still a lot of regret tied to that.
“I’d say you’ll love the twins but they’re not easy to be around. Cayden would probably give you a speech longer than you could stay awake from on those two.” But he loved the little creeps deeply.
