Robert only glared, knowing full well that asking nicely wouldn’t work either. Besides, he refused to give Yin anything he wanted without a fight.

“You can go talk to Raquel if you’d like, but you’ll be doing it with the collar on.” He was sure she’d get a kick out of that.

That was the final straw before Robert was taking a swing at Yin. He knew it wasn’t going to end well for himself, but he didn’t really care at this point.

babyitsmagic:

“Try asking nicely,” he responded, doubting that Robert would even consider that a real option. There was too much pride in the other demon for him to cave so easily on… well, any matter.

Robert only glared, knowing full well that asking nicely wouldn’t work either. Besides, he refused to give Yin anything he wanted without a fight.

“Ya’ve never complained about my lines before,” he shot back. His eyes rolled. “I do not and it ain’t happenin’ so this is a waste of what could be a perfectly fun day.”

“Because I was sleeping with you. I didn’t need to be fed lines either though,” she reminded him with a pleasant smile. “Your kind of fun leads to babies unless you get fixed first. Duh.”

babyitsmagic:

“No,” he agreed flatly. “She wouldn’t.” It was almost more effort than it was worth, but Yin was just spiteful and just enough of a sadist to go through with it if it meant making Robert squirm a bit more.

An awfully uneasy feeling was beginning to pool in his stomach at the way Yin said it. He knew the sort of deal Quel liked to make and they were never pleasant for anyone. “Get. This. Fucking. Collar. Off. Of. Me,” he growled. each word clear and precise. He needed to find the bitch he sold his soul to and straighten this mess out.

louisianalostones:

“I think ya overestimate how much effort it takes ta get most people inta bed with me.” Honestly, sometimes he hardly needed to try at all. “Lyri, I can think of far better uses for this collar than that.”

“We both know you’ve used that as an opening line before.” And she was still a little amused that anything that came out of his mouth worked. Not that she could really judge with how fast she had climbed into his bed. “Which is exactly why you need to be neutered.”

babyitsmagic:

“Are you certain?” he answered, the words practically purred. “When was the last time you checked? Contracts do have a nasty habit of changing hands over time.”

“She wouldn’t just give up my contract.” Of that he was certain of. Raquel had taken far too much pleasure in holding the deed to his entire being. Always said she liked have a petulant puppy at her beck and call. He hated her, but not nearly as much as he despised Yin.

louisianalostones:

“An’ what if they’re all as good as Lin? Would ya really deprive the world’a that? I think it’d be pretty rude of ya.” He shook his head. “You’re s’posed ta spell it out so ya don’t startle me. Did no one ever tell ya that?”

“That might work  better as an argument if you haven’t literally used most of those words in that order for getting people into bed with you,” she pointed out, eyes rolling. “I told you, I’m getting you neutered.”

babyitsmagic:

“You quite literally are. You sold your soul to hell. You belong to hell. I just happen to be management.” He rolled his eyes. “Do you really think that’s going to come off so easily? You underestimate my skill with magic.”

“And last I checked, Raquel held my contract, not you,” he retorted, hands clenching into fists at his sides. “Get this fucking thing off of me before I slit your goddamn throat.”
